sometimes i post happy things that happen...

today i have to tell you what Jesus has really laid on my heart... this week Jesus gave me a verse almost every day about waiting and being quiet...

*tuesday*
"rest in the Lord and wait patiently for Him..." [ps 37]

"surely I have composed and quieted my soul." [ps 131]

*wednesday*
"the Lord will fight for you while you keep silent." [ex 14]

"my soul waits in silence for God only. trust in him at all times... pour out your heart before him." [ps 62]

*thursday*
"i would have despaired unless i had believed that i would see the goodness of the Lord... wait for the Lord. be strong and let your heart take courage. yes. wait for the Lord." [ps 27]

*friday*
"he gives strength for the weary and to him who lacks might he increases power. though youths grow weary and tired, and vigorous young men stumble badly, yet those who wait on the Lord will gain new strength. they will run and not get tired. they will walk and not become weary." [is 40]

friday night i had a head injury and was forced to spend several hours in my room by myself. i should have spent that time with Jesus. instead i was mad that i couldnt be partying with my friends.

*saturday*
susanna sang a song based off mt 11:28 - "come to me all you who are heavy laden and i will give you rest."

i spent a lot of time just sitting and not doing anything... resting due to the swellin in my head.  i felt very useless.

so all this about waiting. waiting and rest. i dont know what im waiting for. but its sweet. i feel Jesus sitting next to me, but almost in front of me... with his hand on my knee and his other hand stroking my hair, looking into my face and saying "shhhh..." hes smiling.

*sunday* [today]
i was so blessed by the worship.
>>  one song we sang said, "im still amazed at the price you had to pay for me." and i thought about all the times that i buy something and then im like, "that was stupid.""thats not what i wanted." "why did i pay that much?" "that wore out fast." "def wasted my money on that one."  and Jesus told me... "Nina, i will never regret purchasing you. you were worth everything."
>>  a lady shared: "focus on Jesus. when we focus on the pain, it feels so big and strong. but when we focus on Jesus...the pain fades."
>>  at lunch taylor prophesied over me the truth that i was purchased. and he also said, "you will beautify the bride of Christ."
>>  lauren told me: "God doesnt mess up. ever."

so much Jesus. so much truth.

  3. Mmm girl, keep resting in Jesus. So so difficult in busyness of life, but really just relish the times when you're not doing annnything, and just hanging out with Jesus. Even though the culture says that's not productivity, Jesus says it is. Mary/Martha. Awww, I LOVE & MISS you so much! you rock my socks off. :) You doo beautify the body of Christ. I love the side of Him that you show, it's beautiful.
