i listened to Mark Driscoll's sermon from sunday and was over and abundantly blessed by it. [you can listen to it too!] he talked about a lot, but mostly just Jesus... he was talking about God being sovereign and how sometimes we take one attribute of God and believe it to be his full character. so, if God is sovereign then why do bad things happen? pastor mark says, yes God is sovereign, but God is also GOOD. this means that he has definite plan and his plan is good.
pastor mark's application of this is: dont freak out! God has a plan. you will destroy yourself with worrying. if God is good and he has a definite plan, he can be trusted.
pastor ken said sunday: there are no accidents. there is no luck. it is perfect sovereignty.
so, nina's living in that truth today. :)
