**The REcounting of an EPIC day**
>> a beautiful quiet time under the spreading oak tree...
nothing can separate... even if i ran away. Your love never fails!
i know i still make mistakes, but you have new mercies for me every day
you stay the same through the ages, your love never changes.
i know that you love me. your love never fails!
>> story time in the store with joey and mark and rachel.
we heard some creepy stories. they were worse than ghost stories around a campfire...
>> beautiful picture from jessie
jessie just sent me this canvas she painted after we had a long conversation about heaven. its beautiful!!! and i love it!!!
>> a wonderful talk with rachel that blessed my soul. i really love that girl.
>> ultimate frisbee tonight was perfectly wonderful. so sweaty. but everyone played so good.
>> ethan taught us how to eat a banana... from the bottom.
>> dishpit tonight with joey and alyssa. crackin jokes... we made sweet tea!!
>> poem from john
so i get this msg from john:
So I found this awesome poem, thought you might like to check it out...
In the beginning God made light;
It was good and it was bright.
He formed a space deep and high;
He called that big space a sky.
On the third day He made the seas;
Rivers, oceans, plants and trees.
This day He made the apples, pears,
Oranges, and 'naners. Oh He cares!
He made the beaches and the islands,
The deserts and the highlands.
He made the moon and stars of night
And the bright sun to give us light.
On the fifth day God made the birds,
And the fish, according to our records.
Next day the animals joined the crew;
God had started Himself a zoo!
He had bears, lions, tigers, and deer,
And monkeys who looked rather queer.
Squirrels and rabbits, turtles and frogs,
Alligators, chipmunks, cats and dogs.
Like I said earlier He had all kinds of fish;
Whales, dolphins, sharks and swordfish.
On the last day of creation, God made man.
But He was missing something--- women!
So God created woman for the man;
And that is how it all began!
i was soooo confused. like what??? kinda sounded familiar, but i had no idea why JOHN was sending it to me!! haha. turns out... he found it in a magazine that i had submitted it to in 2001. I WROTE this poem when i was 11. hahahahaha!!!
then... there are moments that you had to have been there for... and if you werent there... im sorry. but if you were there... :)
