Gods will and direction for our lives many times is just as clear as the next step in front of us. john and i were outside talking about this. God doesnt necessarily show us our path at once, he just wants us to take the step in front of us.
so if Gods will is for me to walk to the light pole... one step will get me closer to that goal. where i put that next step needs to just be right in front of me. if i knew i was walking to the light pole, i would trip on the curb and walk through the grass and get off the path. it might look like Gods will might be the tree. kinda looks like im headed there. but i have to head towards the tree to stay on the path to the light pole.
all this to say: take the next step - the one right in front of you.
"you will make known to me the path of life.
in your presence is fullness of joy.
in your right hand there are pleasures forever."
