i woke up at 7:54 to david: "the digger is here!! the digger is here!!" he wanted to know if he could get a lawn chair and sit in the front yard and watch the city repair the water leak in our front yard.
carrie got up...
i woke up at 9:27 to some loud banging. i had been dreaming that we were all staying on a space ship some where... and i kept losing my cell phone... and mary jones had to drive me home. and on the way home i accidently called john dalrymple. ya, dreams dont make sense.
i want coffee!
i got up, took a shower, put on a happy tshirt, threw my wet hair up... grabbed my camo hat and headed to walmart.
i end up waiting in line for a while cause the lady at the door is chattin it up with her homies... 45 minutes later im home with creamer to make myself coffee. but, since we are trying preserve energy... i tried makin coffee in the microwave and it turned out really nasty. :/ so all my hopes were dashed. i posted on fb that i need a coffee pot. and jamie sent me a link on how to make coffee on the stove. that worked a lot better!
fresh homemade bread with homemade peanut butter and homemade jelly and homemade coffee... mmm... that was lunch. :)
i worked on school for a little bit, but was mostly just distracted on the internet...
about 1:00 we decided it was time to head to the maguires. the boys had made houses out of the couch cushions and decorated with dominos and chinese checkers pieces. i didnt wanna make them clean them up before we left... so we left them. :)
we hung out on the lake for the greater part of the afternoon... laying on floaty things and soaking in the sun. :)
the boys crashed and carrie and i watched despicable me.
it was a wonderful day.
